Singer Victor Manuelle is going through a bitter moment after announcing that his brother Héctor Gustavo lost the battle against cancer.

It was the same Puerto Rican salsa player who made the news known through his social networks.

“Today with pain in my heart I regret to communicate the sad news that my brother Héctor Gustavo has departed with the Lord. Yes, Héctor, the same one who spent his best years of life taking care of my dad. Today I want to thank God for allowing me to enjoy this angel on earth,”he wrote painfully on his Instagram account.

Just at the beginning of this year, the interpreter of "Mercy me" shared with his followers that his brother was diagnosed with cancer and they were beginning the process of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for his recovery.

Héctor Gustavo was in the care of their father, Don Victor Ruíz, during his last months before he died in 2018.

In his moment of pain, the singer only had words of thanks and the hope that his daddy and his brother "Dadito" will meet in heaven.

“I thank all my followers and the members of the press who have always been asking me about their health. With the same respect that you have always had, I ask you for a space to overcome this pain so strong in family privacy. Thank you, I hope you understand me. God, today one of the most beautiful voices I have been privileged to hear will join your heavenly choir. Rest in peace my little brother, Dadito. I love you and I know we will meet. For now, say hi to Daddy."
