Mexican actor Pablo Lyle is in the midst of an unfortunate controversy after allegedly hitting a man during a traffic incident.

The incident has grabbed even more headlines after the death of the victim, Juan Ricardo Hernández, was confirmed, who died Thursday after being in a coma for four days in a Miami hospital.

Hernández's relatives do not conceive the idea of having lost their loved one.

"My dad was a good person. Good father, good son. My dad did not deserve this,”Juan Ricardo Hernández Jr. told Univision News. "My grandfather in Cuba is almost dying, he is very ill."

“My dad had an operation on his knee and he could hardly walk. It was very hard. [Lyle] didn't have to have done that,”replied the only person who spoke to the media.

According to witnesses, the driver of the car in which Lyle was traveling asked the old man to stop hitting the window and that's when the actor got out and hit Hernández, who fell and hit his head on the ground, knocking him unconscious.

Lyle appeared in court this Monday and was released on $ 5,000 bail, in addition to receiving a permit to travel to Mexico, where he is currently.

Following the incident, Lyle could face criminal charges of involuntary manslaughter due to Hernández's death. After the new course taken by the event, the Televisa actor will have to appear before a judge in Miami on May 1.
