A Hispanic woman from the Houston area died Tuesday in a fatal accident that caused a 14-year-old driver to run a red light while trying to evade another driver. A mischief on the part of the young man who was behind the wheel along with his companions indicates the cause of the crash.

The woman was identified as Silvia Zavala, 45 years old. "We send our condolences to her family," said the Harris County Sheriff via Twitter.

While on the run, the 14-year-old driver ran a red light and hit the Zabala truck, possibly in his 30s, which apparently came from shopping.

The 14-year-old, and a 15-year-old passenger, whose identities have not been released, were hospitalized after the crash. After spending hours in the hospital, the driver was transferred to a juvenile detention center once he was released.

The other Hispanic man, in his 20s, involved in the accident after being upset that the teens had instilled his car, has been identified and the police have merits to question him.

According to witnesses, three teenagers, including the two hospitalized, were in an SUV truck throwing eggs at other cars. The man suspected of involvement, whose car had been fouled by eggs, decided to pursue them.

The minor faces murder charges for causing a road accident. His parents could also be charged because "this minor should not have this vehicle."
