The weather anchorwoman on FOX, whose suicide was reported Thursday, was hanged, forensic doctors confirmed after an autopsy in Oakland County, Michigan.

The death of Jessica Starr, 35, was reported by the Fox 2 network in Detroit, after the family informed Starr's colleagues.

Starr, who was married and the mother of two children, was at rest for several weeks after undergoing Lasik surgery to repair her sight. During her recovery, the driver expressed her feelings through a video she posted on Facebook.

“I still need all the prayers and good wishes because this is hard. The doctor said it could take up to three months for me to feel one hundred percent again,”he said in a clip he posted from his office on November 13, his first day back to work.

The next day he apologized to his fans as he would have to take more time off.

Starr used to be honest with her audience and share happy moments as well as difficult ones. In 2015, Starr revealed on social media that she had come under fire for her weight while pregnant. Apparently, the pressure she suffered from being a personality on camera overwhelmed her.

“We are in the public eye, you have to be strong in the media. That's part of everything and I'm fine with it happening. You may not like your hair today; we are used to that. You may not like the makeup, the outfit, and it's okay. It doesn't bother me.”

"But, I got a handwritten letter saying it looks like I'm going to hand over an elephant and, 'Isn't it time you started your maternity leave?' And I think that is crossing the line."

Starr received two degrees in meteorology, one from Michigan State University and one from Mississippi State University.
