Human Fetus Found On American Airlines Plane

The cleaning staff of an American Airlines plane that was parked at the La Guardia airport, in New York, took the scare of his life when he found a human fetus in the bathroom.

According to the CBS network, flight 1942 arrived in New York around 11:00 pm from Charlotte, North Carolina and after the descent of its passengers it was taken to the maintenance area and parked in hangar number 5 of the terminal.

The plane had arrived at said terminal on Monday, but it was until this Tuesday morning that the cleaning team made the macabre discovery.

According to said source, the fetus was inside the toilet and covered with toilet paper.

The fetus was taken to a morgue in Queens County - where the airport is located - to perform an appropriate autopsy. For its part, the district attorney's office said that it is working with the Port Authority to find the mother of the child, who was apparently between five and six months pregnant.

"Leaving him like that and saying nothing … is heartless," said Barbara Morris, one of the passengers on the flight. "I can't believe it. It is awful. Abandon a fetus like that?”Asked another passenger who spoke to CBS anonymously. "It's terrible".

The airline issued a statement to refer to the tragic event. "We are cooperating with the authorities in their investigation as we try to discover more about this tragic and delicate situation," said the newspaper.

"We can confirm that we are investigating what we believe to be a human fetus who died on the plane," the spokeswoman for the Coroner's Office told the Daily News newspaper. "We will publish our findings when the investigation is complete."
