Horror and rejection is what has unleashed the case of a little girl of just 4 years old who was repeatedly raped by a Texas state police officer, who also threatened the mother so that the authorities would not expose her before.

As revealed by a report from People magazine on his online site, José Nunez, 47, wanted to take advantage of the fact that the girl's mother is an undocumented immigrant to abuse the minor and at the same time try to scare the woman with threats to deport her.

"[The situation] is disturbing, disgusting, it infuriates and breaks your heart at the same time," said Javier Salazar, Bexar County Police Chief, who is also the chief of Nunez, about the case.

In his statements, Salazar also added that it is possible that there are more victims of the criminal coming from the uniformed, so he made an urgent call so that people without documents are not afraid to report abuse or crimes to the authorities. "I ask anyone who does not have documents and who is the victim of a crime or has witnessed one to report it," he said.

Although details of how the girl's abuse occurred are not yet known, the police chief did reveal that after the girl's rape, the mother sought refuge at a fire station, where the girl did not stop crying. Hours later, the capture of Nunez was carried out. If the serious charges against the officer are proven, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
