Oregon police filed charges against an individual they allege murdered Sara Zghoul, the 28-year-old mother and model, whose body was found decapitated and dismembered in the trunk of a BMW car last Thursday.
Jeremiah Johnston, 35, is being held without bail in the Washington County Jail on two criminal offenses: murder and abuse of a dead body. The arrest was confirmed in a press release released Wednesday afternoon, People says.

Other papers obtained by the magazine are documents on a Johnston parents' property near Zghoul's home in Aloha, Oregon. In that neighborhood, on January 25, the car was found with the remains of the young mother's body that were inside two suitcases in the trunk.
Following a lead, authorities arrived in a forest where they allegedly found Johnston hysterical moments after he allegedly attempted suicide. People say that according to investigators in the case, Johnston cut his throat and attempted to cut his wrists as police approached him.
