Terrifying and inhuman! No more can be said about this unusual case of a man who was detained in Colombia and faces charges in court for the rape of more than 500 minors, a number that could increase.

As revealed by an investigative report from the renowned Colombian magazine Semana, Juan Carlos Sánchez Latorre, 38, who called himself "The Big Bad Wolf", could be one of the greatest serial rapists in recent history.

The victims of his atrocious acts were children under the age of 14, one of his most recent prey being a baby girl just 14 months old. The criminal also taped the sexual assaults he carried out against the children and sold them for values that ranged from systems technologist to a local company, apparently leading a normal life.

Sánchez persuaded most of his victims to come to his house to play video games and once there he offered them money to let them take nude photos, then sexually subjected them and documented everything in video form.

The publication adds that despite the fact that at least 500 victims are currently being talked about, the number could be even higher, since the information found by the investigators would lead them to think that they could perpetrate more violations in other places and countries.

It is not the first time that a similar case has shaken the Colombian community. In the 1980s and 1990s, a man named Luis Alfredo Garavito, considered one of the worst serial killers, raped and ended the lives of more than 170 minors.
