The letters from Jessica Edens, who killed the woman she believed to be the girlfriend of her still husband, turned out to be terribly confused, and then murdered her two children and committed suicide, Greenville Online reported.

"Ben. You have caused me more pain than I have ever had in my life,”says the woman in her suicide letter. “You have caused my children pain. I hate you. I hope you will rot one day for what you have done to me and my children. You can't hurt us anymore. We are in peace. I hope you live in pain, shame and guilt for the rest of your life."

The three notes written by the 36-year-old woman were at the site where she was found dead, along with the bodies of her 5-year-old sons Harper and 9-year-old Hayden, who had previously been killed.

In addition, Edens had murdered Meredith Leight Rahme, a co-worker of her husband, whom he pointed to as his new romance, moments before, which has been ruled out by local police.

To my parents and my sister. I am so sorry for the pain that I am causing all of you. You all have always been there for me and I love you so much,”read a second note.

There was also a third message for Nate, the father of his oldest son Hayden, to whom he apologized.

According to authorities, the night before the killings, Ben Edens called the police and asked that they check the children after receiving a series of text messages from her. However, they found the children well and Jessica lucid, who warned that she was going to "expose" Ben in court for their romance.

Creed Hashe of the Pickens County Sheriff's Office hopes that spreading the notes will help with the pain of the families of the victims.
