A woman who is missing a leg is a candidate for the Miss Bumbum contest in Brazil, which awards the contestant with the best butt in that South American country.
Rubia Machado, a contestant for the state of Tocantins, in the northern region of the country, has an amputated leg, but that has not been an impediment to claim the title.
Machado lost his left leg after an ex-boyfriend ran over her, reports the Mexican newspaper El Universal, in an event that occurred more than ten years ago. The newspaper also highlights that Machado would be the first candidate with a physical disability to participate in Miss Bumbum.
Machado stands out among the 27 contestants in this year's edition, because he needs crutches to be able to move or move from one place to another. The contest is very popular in Brazil, but it has also had an international impact. Even newspapers from all over the world have reviewed the start of the edition of the contest this year.
