A boy with Down Syndrome performs a Whitney Houston song with such passion that it has captured the attention of 18 million people.

Dane Miller, 9, was recorded singing the song “I Have Nothing,” - which the late artist made famous in 1993 - while taking a car ride with her family.

The cute video has captured the attention of many -including news media from different parts of the country- for the way so genuine that the little one intones each stanza and the passion that he puts into the song.

"He is just so dynamic," Dane's aunt Jeanne Miller, who posted the video to her Facebook account, told ABC News. “He is very functional, so when he listens to music, it is something that stays with him. He is very proud [of the video],”said the aunt, who related that her nephew smiles and is excited.

People reports that the boy's mother, Danna Miller, explained that it was after watching the Whitney Houston documentary that her son became a fan of the song.

"So he started downloading her songs and with that he was hooked," Dane's mom, a Prosper, Texas, resident, told CBS DWF.

Dane loves music. In addition, it was learned that his favorite artists include Taylor Swift and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. "When we had Dane, we didn't know he had Down Syndrome, but that wouldn't have mattered," Danna told ABC News.
