Singer Bobby Brown, a former husband of the late Whitney Houston, became a father again after his current wife Alicia Etheredge gave birth to a baby girl.
"I just had a 10-pound babe," Brown said below an image on Instagram, where she doesn't show the newborn, but he appears smiling.
The news of the couple's pregnancy was confirmed in February to People by the lawyer of the former member of the New Edition group. Brown and Etheredge have two other children: Bodhi Jameson Rein, 12 months old, and the boy Cassius, 7 years old.
The new daughter comes to Brown's life just one year after the death of her daughter Bobbi Kristina, her only daughter with Houston.
The young woman was found unconscious in her bathtub and was in a coma for six months, until she finally died on July 26, 2015.
Brown also has two other adult children: Landon, 27, La'Princia, 26, and Bobby Jr., 23, all from previous relationships.
Brown and Etheredge were married in Hawaii in June 2012.
