Marco Orrego, a 31-year-old Florida state resident, is accused of raping a minor of just 16 years of age, in addition to forcing her to have sex with other men in exchange for money.
As shared by a report on the online site of the newspaper El Nuevo Herald, the dramatic story began when the girl asked Orrego for help to escape from her home, an opportunity that he used to hold her and abuse her.
Apparently the two would have met through a digital portal that offers sexual services, where the girl would have her own profile. After exchanging her contact information, last May the girl decided to contact the man to help him run away from home.

Orrego sent a car to pick up the minor and as soon as she arrived at the individual's apartment, he would have forced her to have sex with him, according to the version shared by the young woman with the authorities who are now in charge of the investigation.
The girl would have added in her story that the man forced her to offer sexual services through the online site Backpage, where Orrego hung pictures of the teenager in underwear.
The man, who worked at a location of the renowned chain of stores Sam's Club, also would have forced the girl to have intimate encounters with three other men. According to the Herald report, the man recorded the sexual encounters with his phone.
Orrego faces, among others, charges of sexual trafficking, sexual abuse of a minor and distribution of child pornography, which could mean a sentence of up to life in prison if found guilty.
