Samantha Martínez faked her own kidnapping to take revenge on her boyfriend and make him scare. Miami police arrested the 20-year-old Hispanic woman on Wednesday for orchestrating her own kidnapping to give her partner a hard time.

On Tuesday afternoon, the young woman was reported missing and kidnapped. Her boyfriend stated that he last saw her on November 30, according to a police spokesperson.

The girl caused quite a stir after her boyfriend called to report her disappearance after receiving a mysterious call. "Her boyfriend received a suspicious phone call that made him believe she was in danger," added Miami Police spokesman Christopher Bess.

Police released a photo of the woman who had last been seen in the northwest city of Miami. The officers thought that she was in danger and even asked for the support of the community to find her whereabouts.

Authorities reported that Martinez was arrested after confessing that it was all a sham to worry her partner. It is not known whether the woman will face any charges or when she will be released.
