Homage To Chapecoense In The Spanish Classic

Two of the world's biggest 'enemies' on a soccer field, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, forget their rivalry for a few minutes in memory of their Brazilian colleagues from Chapecoense who died this week in a plane crash.

The pre-duel between these two powerful teams has been marked by sadness and the minute of silence of those attending the Camp Nou in memory of the victims. This was followed by a multitude of applause that has moved all the players and, especially, Neymar, from Barcelona, and Marcelo and Casemiro, from Real Madrid, visibly affected by the loss of their compatriots.

In the case of Neymar, the player paid his particular tribute on his twitter account with moving words and later on the field wearing the Chapecoense team shirt throughout the match. "May God help us and protect us," he wrote.

The 22 top footballers were mixed on the pitch united by pain and solidarity. In front of them an immense banner that said "Chapecoense Force" as a sign of mourning and companionship towards all those who lost their lives in such a tragic way.

With this beautiful gesture, it is shown that the heart and the great family that forms football predominate over the colors.
