What is an "Insta-eyebrow"? It is that type of eyebrow that became so fashionable among influencers on Instagram and, let's admit it, it is absolutely identical, it looks like a template and does not favor all kinds of face, nose, eye shapes, etc. We took advantage of the visit of Benefit's eyebrow expert, Jared Bailey, who has given us some good advice on trends and how to get the perfect drawing. Some will surprise you.

"People no longer look for that perfect effect, super worked and so dark that it is worn on Instagram," he explains. "What takes time is the texture, it seems that you have naturally abundant and leafy eyebrows." To do this, Bailey says, you have to use a pencil that is lighter in color than yours to fill in the gaps.

One of Bailey's keys when starting to draw the shape you want is to pick up a pencil and mark from the middle of the nostril, "where you would do a piercing," he clarifies, and up. "That's where your eyebrows should start," he recommends, contrary to what many of us have always thought of starting at the outer end of the nostrils.

"If you wax too much in the central area, your eyes will appear more separated," he warns.

Tweezers or wax? The expert prefers wax because it leaves a much cleaner and more uniform effect, but you have to have the technique very controlled or do it with an expert because if you can't damage the follicle, that's when the hair stops growing and the problems begin.
