With the permission of the designers at the helm of the firm, Fernando García and Laura Kim, all the flashes were directed today at the sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid, who have been in charge of opening the Oscar de la Renta spring-summer 2019 show.

After them, the trips that have inspired this collection have been protagonists. A collection with classic touches, of course, but sexier than this house has accustomed us, with neckline dresses and asymmetrical cuts, fully transparent lace, gold and yellow finishes more vibrant than one season refuses to leave the podium of the hottest colors.

“Morocco, but urban”, was the guideline that the designers gave to the veteran Tom Pecheux and his team, who has worked with Mac products. “[We use] kajal type eyeliner in purple on the inner lash line, mascara only at the beginning of the eyelashes and a very shiny golden eyeliner only at the end of the eyes”, explains Pecheux.

The hair has been in charge of the stylist Kevin Hughes, artistic director of Moroccanoil, who explained the caves of the look that is inspired by an urban, but nomadic woman, who travels around the world. Inspiration has resulted in a low ponytail at the nape of the neck, with a very strong parting in the middle and, as the stylist explained, “respecting the models' natural hair texture. We want to see her curls, her waves, her volume, dreadlocks, braids…”.
