Gucci Joins The Latin Grammy To Create Exclusive Watches

For the fourth consecutive year, Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry joins The Latin Recording Academy to create the Gucci Latin Grammy watch line, part of whose proceeds will go to young people around the world who want or are starting a career in music.

The prestigious company created the Interlocking model in black and white for ladies and in complete black for men. This collection can be purchased at Gucci.com

The women's watch has a leather strap in the black model, and a rubber strap in the white model, with the brand's iconic G in gold metal. For its part, the men's was made with a black strap and the same initial in black. Each piece has the Grammy statuette symbol on the strap and on the reverse, made of Grammium, the same material used in the gramophones delivered at the ceremony.

Part of the proceeds, in addition to targeting The Academy's initiative to help young artists excel in their careers, will also be used to raise awareness of the importance of Latino culture.

Since 2011, the prestigious brand and the Latin Recording Academy joined together in an exclusive partnership to create limited edition pieces inspired by Latin music.

The 16th annual Latin Grammy Awards will be held this Thursday in Las Vegas.
