Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha welcomed their second daughter this weekend.
Ryan Carson Curry, who is the baby girl's name, weighed in at six pounds and an ounce at birth, her mom recounted in a blog post on Sunday.
“Our precious little Ryan Carson Curry came perfectly healthy and happy!” Wrote Ayesha, who along with Curry was already the mother of Riley, almost 3 years old.
God is wonderful. The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We have been fortunate to experience everything again on Friday night,”added the happy mom, who also recounted how the delivery occurred naturally, without the need for an epidural.
“I was able to give birth naturally, without an epidural. This is something I have always wanted to do and I am so happy that I was able to go through it with the help of my dear husband and the amazing doctor. This time I felt more prepared and able to take on the whole process. It was a miracle!”Explained the basketball player's wife, from whose words it could be deduced that little Riley is already acting as an older sister.
“Riley is completely in love with her little sister and has taken on the role of big sister very well. I am so proud of her!”
