José Ángel García, father of the well-known Mexican actor Gael García Bernal, will become a father again at the age of 68. This was confirmed by the also actor to different publications in Mexico, stating that Bella De La Vega, his 37-year-old young wife, is expecting to be 8 weeks pregnant.
“It is wonderful news, which comes at a very special moment. We have tried to calmly handle this situation, because we already had a complicated experience, but now everything is going well and we are happy,”the sixty-year-old told TV Notas magazine.
Garcia married the model and aspiring driver last January and assured that the pregnancy was sought, even revealed that his wife had an abortion a while ago, which has made the news of her sweet wait even more fortunate.
“A little over a year ago we had the loss of a baby; during a trip we made to Morelia with my family,”the histrion explained to the same source. "Bella told me she had bleeding, but then she was a little stronger, with clots; she felt very bad. Fortunately, many of the family members are doctors and we were told that it was a miscarriage; It was a difficult experience."

The actor assures that long life and late fatherhood are things that run through the veins of his family. “In my family there are many cases of paternity at an advanced age; my grandfather, for example, had his last son around the age of 80,”he explained to the Who magazine.
