The royal family of Monaco has had a new member since Tuesday.
Charlotte Casiraghi gave birth to a little prince, to be named Raphael, reported the principality's palace.
Casiraghi, 27, and her boyfriend, comedian Gad Elmaleh, 42, reported the birth of Raphael in Monaco on Tuesday. Sources from People magazine assure that the delivery occurred around 9 at night.
The statement jokingly added that "the grandmothers are fine," and that the mother and baby are perfectly fine.
Everyone is very happy. This is good news,”the source assured People.
He is the first child of the Gucci rider and model, Casiraghi, and the second for Elmaleh, who is the father of one son, Noah. The couple met through mutual friends two years ago.
Raphael is the second great-grandson of the late Princess Grace and the second grandson of Princess Caroline.
