It has been almost two months since Cecilia Gallegos was last seen alive. The young Hispanic mother of four, who lived in San Antonio, Texas, was reported missing on July 8 after her husband Reyes Gallegos called 911. The man alleged that she had cut him with a knife during a fight over an alleged infidelity, according to a police report obtained by FOX San Antonio.

Reyes told authorities that his wife had fled and had not returned home and claimed not to know her whereabouts. Cecilia was caught on video on July 7 entering her home, from which she was never seen leaving. Her husband was also allegedly seen bringing shovels, a chainsaw, garbage bags and cleaning products into the house they shared.

Police allege that Reyes knows more than he has reported about his wife's disappearance. The 34-year-old man was arrested last Wednesday and accused of making a false report to the police. PEOPLE confirmed that Reyes posted bail for artia with her husband. "There were four children in the house during this time and it is seen how the suspect keeps the children away from the room where his wife was," authorities said in the document. Investigators allege that the man turned off his security camera system for nearly two hours the following morning.

According to the affidavit, Gallegos left the house several times and was seen "lowering two shovels and an electric saw" from his car, in addition to cleaning products and garbage bags. "The suspect's shirt appeared to be drenched in sweat," and the man showered before calling police, the report added.

Cecilia's family assures that she would never abandon her children and that she has not used her credit cards since she disappeared. Cecilia's sister, Mireya López, told KSAT that she had called her family members telling them that something bad could happen to her and they suspect that she is dead. "We don't want to accept it," said her sister, "but our hearts tell us that she is no longer with us [in this world]."
