A Hispanic in Florida has been accused of cutting off his neighbor's penis. The reason? He apparently suspected that his wife was unfaithful to the victim.
Alex Bonilla is accused of forcibly entering his neighbor's house, tying him up and cutting off his virile limb with scissors. Bonilla, 49, was arrested Sunday in Gilchrist County, according to local media. The neighbor's children were in the house when the crime occurred, according to those same means.
Bonilla is in jail after a bond of more than $ 1 million was imposed, according to documents from the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office. Authorities responded to a call about someone who had been stabbed or cut in a mobile home and when they arrived at the residence they found the victim with the mutilated penis.
The neighbor said Bonilla had broken into his home with a gun and threatened to kill him if he resisted, NBC News reported. He then took him to the room where Bonilla allegedly thought the neighbor had had sex with his wife. Bonilla fled the scene with the mutilated penis in hand, according to local press.
The police report of his arrest indicates that Bonilla found his wife and victim having sex in May. Shortly after the violent incident last Sunday, the police found and arrested Bonilla. The neighbor was rushed to a hospital, where he is in stable condition and recovers from the attack. The case is still ongoing.
