A 26-year-old model passed away after collapsing on the catwalk during a Fashion Week show in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Tales Soares, also known artistically as Tales Cotta, was working on the Ocksa brand show held this Saturday. In videos and photos circulating on the networks it is seen how Soares was preparing to make his exit from the catwalk after completing the first part of the journey and suddenly he slowly stumbled until he collapsed and lay on it.

Some thought it was a joke or that he had simply tripped over his shoelaces. But when he saw that he did not get up, he was attended by relief personnel, before the astonished and panicked gaze of other models and the public present.

The boy was still taken alive to a local hospital where he later died.

"We regret this fatality and send our sincere condolences to the Tales family, as well as to the MGT base agency," exclaimed the organizers of the parade. "We are offering all the necessary assistance in this sad moment."

For its part, the agency that represented Soares remembered him as a model of "exemplary behavior" and that he had never complained about having health problems, according to words reproduced by CNN. "He maintained a healthy diet (he was a vegetarian), did not use illicit substances and was in perfect condition to participate in the parade," he told himself.

However, according to the newspaper La República de Perú, Soares had expressed feeling unwell before the parade.

The incident occurred just on the last day of the event's parades, which is considered one of the most important of its kind in that hemisphere and this year celebrates its 47th edition.
