The guy who sold her the pills that supposedly put singer Demi Lovato on the verge of death has spoken. And to the surprise of many, the dealer has blamed the singer for her overdose because she says he warned her that the pills she was selling her were "very strong."

Brandon Johnson addressed the matter when speaking to the TMZ.com site saying, “Those pills were not from the pharmacy and were much stronger. [Demi] fully understood and is unfortunate that this has happened.”

The subject assured that he did not know what the pills were made of or if they contained fentanyl, a highly potent opiate that is attributed to the death of singer Prince. However, Johnson acknowledged that he knew that the pills came from Mexico.

The man alleges that when they arrived at the house of the former Disney star, they smoked together and then, around seven in the morning, he left, leaving her alone, something that he had previously said. As if that were not enough, in the interview he also suggested that he and the singer had intimate relationships, something that those close to the artist have denied.

According to different sources, Johnson has been detained several times by the Los Angeles police and it was he who on July 24 went to the singer's residence in the Hollywood Hills to supply the narcotics that would later put her on the verge of death after having been partying until dawn.

That morning, around 11:00 am, 911 received a chilling call from the artist's assistant asking for help. Lovato was assisted with the drug narcan, commonly used to counteract the effects of opium and heroin, and admitted to the exclusive Cedars-Sinai hospital as an emergency.

"I am not here to hurt anyone," says the subject to what happened. "She worries me a lot, it means a lot to me."
