Uribe's Son Was Stabbed

Francisco Tapia Uribe, the son of actress Merle Uribe is hospitalized after allegedly suffered an assault in Mexico City. It was through his Twitter account that the vedette asked for blood donors in order to save his 33-year-old son.

Tapia was apparently stabbed by assailants after he refused to give them his belongings. "Please for those who want and can donate blood … my son Francisco Tapia Uribe is in the Rubén Leñero hospital," wrote Uribe, "Please help. It is very serious.”

Despite being stabbed in both legs, Uribe's son managed to reach a public hospital in Mexico City where they were able to stabilize him.

Unfortunately Francisco does not have a very clean record as he has been in prison three times. The last one was in 2009 when he stole a house and lived for a time in the Oriente prison in the Federal District. At the time of his arrest, the young man brought a bag with 43 thousand dollars that he had stolen and also brought the cell phone of the owner of the house.

Among the other crimes for which he was jailed are the theft of a watch from a motorist.
