Woman Accused Of Killing Her Mother With A Metal Bow

An argument between a Pennsylvania woman and her mother took such disproportionate dimensions that the daughter ended up attacking her mother with a crossbow and killing her with a crush.

According to the Lehighton Times newspaper, Lisa Marie Caplan, 51, was accused of shooting an arrow at her mother with a metal bow or crossbow, murdering her and then hiding her body for two days.

Relatives of Sandra Marie Barndt, who was 71 years old, worried that they had not heard from her since Wednesday, so they called the police to report her disappearance.
