A Woman Accused Of Checking Dating App After Killing Her Husband

From the beginning, the police suspected that something was wrong when they arrived at Danielle Redlick's house in an exclusive neighborhood of Winter Park, FL, on the morning of January 12.

For starters, she had told 911 operators that her husband appeared to have suffered a heart attack, only to recognize in the same conversation that they had had an altercation, that her husband had stabbed himself, and that the heart problem the "stabbing" could have caused it. Then there is the fact that when officers arrived at the house, it smelled strongly of bleach.

Inside the home, near the entrance, her husband, Michael Redlick - an executive from the University of Central Florida - was found dead in the middle of a pool of blood, with towels drenched in blood and a bloody trail coming to the master bedroom, according to police reports cited by People.

According to the coroner, Redlick's death was a homicide caused by stab wounds, which were not self-inflicted and that some of the wounds appeared to be defensive. The result is that authorities arrested the wife on murder charges and altered the evidence of the crime three weeks after the husband's death.

According to her account, it had taken Danielle 11 hours to call 911 since her husband had received the injuries, and during that long period of time, she had been checking messages in a dating app.

"They didn't have a perfect marriage … everyone knew that," a neighbor told People. "But murder? No one would have said it. " Friends of the couple, according to authorities, told them that Danielle was allegedly violent and another that the victim told her that "as long as he hides the meat knives, everything will be fine."

The defendant, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, is incarcerated in a jail without bail.
