Daniela Luján, who obtained fame for being the good and sweet girl in the soap opera Luz Clarita, today has become a fatal woman who prefers not to appear on the small screen to dedicate herself body and soul to the theater. “For now I only focus on the theater. Maybe I have not looked long enough on TV because I am very happy right now,”the actress told the Mexican newspaper Reforma. “Theater is the best school and I really enjoy it for all that it implies, the challenge of getting on stage and being fully exposed; train your memory and create. Maybe later I'll look for something on television.”
Luján, who has participated in theatrical productions such as Zarathustra and La Familia de Diez, was also part of the musical for Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo's play, The Little Store of Horrors in Mexico City, where he gave life to a girl named Audrey. “Audrey suffers from a lot of loneliness, need of love. That challenge of telling both things, both the good and the bad of the character, caught my attention and that's why I accepted, said the young woman. “It was a bit complicated, especially at the beginning, not so much because the character is similar, but the way it unfolds. I have to cut it very hard so that they don't mix.”
