His name is Jorge Pérez, he is Cuban American, he is recognized as the richest builder in the United States and there are those who call him El Trump Latino. However, whoever has a resemblance to the President of the United States in terms of wealth does not mean that he shares his ideals.
That was made very clear by the magnate in an interview on the Bloomberg portal in which he disagreed with Donald Trump's decision to build a wall on the border that divides Mexico and the United States. "It is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen or heard in my life," said Pérez, who was born in Argentina and is the son of Cuban parents.
Pérez began his career as a builder in Miami making low-cost homes; Trump was the business partner of two of his projects and from there a great friendship arose.
According to Forbes magazine, the fortune of this Cuban-American is estimated in relations between the Aztec country and the United States.
