Barbara Bermudo does not stop learning from her daughters. After recently celebrating the birthday of her daughter Sofía Andrea Victoria, the co- host of Primer Impacto (Univisión) reflects on the lessons she has learned in the baby's first year of life.

"I have learned so many things from her, that life has to be taken calmly, that one has to live the day and not rush into anything," says the Puerto Rican journalist. "That the most important thing is the children and the family, to have health in order to achieve what we want."

Mia's mom, Camila and Sofia enjoy every moment with their daughters. “I am not celebrating birthdays. I am super simple. I prefer that we go to the cinema, have a small cake and that's it. This is very exciting for me,”he says of Sofia's first party, for which she had the help of an event organizer. “Already with Mia and Camila I can't say the birthday theme or where I'm going to do it. They already decide what they want, how they want it and I have to adjust to them”, he confesses.

“With Sofia it was easy. Monica Pardo is one of the most talented women I know when it comes to birthday decorations. Creativity doesn't stop. She told me: 'I can create an enchanted forest for you, with unicorns, horses, nature, and do something intimate and with pleasure without spending a lot of money,'”says Bermudo.

What do you advise moms planning a birthday party? “The digital age is our best ally. You can see the most expensive birthday on Google and copy the same without spending a fortune. It will give you millions of ideas to look at the Internet and there are stores that sell very cheap things. You just have to let your imagination run wild,”he says.

An important point is to consider the weather on the day of the celebration. I did it indoors because we are in Miami where it is very hot or it rains. I wanted to do it at home but I said: 'What if it rains or there is a lot of humidity?' We found this place that we can decorate as if it were the house”.

Another golden tip is to foster sibling love. “Seeing my daughters in such a strong union makes me feel very lucky because they love each other. Mía has an obsession with her sister that is something out of the ordinary. I thank God for that, "he concludes. "I am happy. It's a very special moment".
