A young actor recording a hip hop music video died on Sunday in a bizarre incident that struck him down on the set of the recording.

According to ABC Australia, actor Johann Ofner, 28, had been hired as a double to record the clip of the group Bliss N Eso and in one of the action scenes one of the weapons used launched a bullet that pierced his chest.

The strange accident - similar to others in which they have died on set - occurred around 2:00 pm at the Brooklyn Standard bar located in the coastal city of Brisbane.

"During the filming of that scene, various weapons were used," said Detective Tom Armitt, who handled the case. "As a result, one of the actors received chest injuries and has subsequently died of the injuries."

The inspector said that so far the Queensland authorities do not know what happened and are trying to find out how the tragedy happened in what is already called a "criminal investigation". ï¿yó¾vo žÑÍ8ÓGµã¾á¦ · í§4ñî¼Ó × Ú

Immediately, Bliss N Eso elements seized their social networks to express their regret for the event.

"We are very saddened by the tragic incident that occurred today (…) a double professional who participated in the filming of our latest music video has died this afternoon in Brisbane. We were not at the location," explained the Australian band through a release.

The gang assured that its agent works with the authorities to clarify the case.
