Sofia Carson's Style Evolution

For Colombian actress and singer Sofía Carson, finding her own style has not been a difficult task since she has always been faithful to her classic essence. From her most glamorous red carpet looks like the Giambattista Couture dress she wore at the Golden Globes, to the more casual ones she usually hangs on her Instagram account, the 25-year-old has positioned herself as one of the best stars dressed in their generation. The singer and actress of the new series Pretty Little Liars Perfectionists stopped by our offices and told us about her style.

"I love classic and timeless pieces, sophisticated but also with a fresh air or with an edge," says Carson, who likes to give a modern touch to their looks. "I think fashion is always changing and you evolve over the years but I think I've always kept that classic … but experimenting just a little bit more."

An admirer of haute couture designers like Giambattista Valli, Valentino and Stella McCartney, Carson was at the most recent Fashion Week in Paris pacing from show to show, something that filled her with satisfaction. "Valentino was the first brand I heard my mom talk to … being there with her on that show was so, so exciting …"

As for her favorite looks, Carson said that, in addition to the one she wore at the Golden Globes, the two dresses she wore at the Oscars have been extremely special to her. "And if I can say a fourth, a black Dior dress that I wore to the MTV VMA Awards about a year or two years ago that I also loved."
