Adamari López Will Dance In Un Nuevo Dia

During her visit to New York, Adamari López had to change her hours of rest to perform intense physical work.

The reason?

“In a new day (Telemundo) we are doing a dance show within the show, Así se baila, and it happens every Friday. We are super happy,”López exclusively told People en Español. "For us it is a very big challenge."

So big, that the producer of Un nuevo…, Ángel Román, decided to rent for hours a dance studio in the Harlem neighborhood so that Ada and dancer Miguel Ángel Santiago would rehearse the choreography that will premiere tomorrow on the program.

"Ada takes it very seriously," said Roman. "Rehearse very strongly."

According to the Puerto Rican, that is because she does her job with a lot of passion. “There is no prize, we do it for fun. We are not dancers, I have the experience of having participated in a dance show, but that does not make me an expert or a dancer. I haven't been dancing all this time. I have worked a lot on this,”confessed López.

The driver in the middle of rehearsals keeps an eye on her little Alaïa and is on the lookout for her little girl to attend her classes. “Now take Hip hop classes. I take her to [classes] to learn different genres, but hip hop loves it, she dances it and it gets very sexy. I am very bad at it, for me the steps are the same”.
