A few weeks ago we woke up to the sad news of the death of Karl Lagerfeld, creative director for Chanel and Fendi, and one of the most respected designers in the industry. Today the Chanel show was held at Paris Fashion Week in which the latest collection designed by Lagerfeld was presented where some of his muses wore the fabulous pieces from the brand's autumn collection.

Cara Delevingne opened the parade held as always in the majestic Grand Palais in Paris that this time became a Swiss villa in the winter time with a chalet included and "snow" covering the entire catwalk. It was precisely there that Penélope Cruz debuted as a model dressed in a monochrome look of a leather skirt, a flounced blouse and ankle boots. To complement the look, Cruz carried a semi-gathered, a belt and a flower in her hand as a symbol of tribute to her great friend.

The Spanish actress was one of the muses of the late designer, who last year chose her as the image of Chanel. That is why it was very emotional to see her walk the catwalk dressed in one of the latest designs that the artist created.

The whole place was full of the artist's essence. The guests found an illustration of the designer and Coco Chanel, made by the same Lagerfeld who said "The beat goes on", (the rhythm continues). Also, before the show started, recordings of the designer speaking in French were heard. Then those present were asked for a minute of silence in honor of the talented creator.

On the catwalk we saw elegant black and white checkered pieces, fabulous oversized coats and surprisingly lots of color too. We were fascinated with the fuchsia, green and blue tones that were displayed in the show, without leaving behind the incredible pieces in neutral colors. Without a doubt, an unforgettable collection and parade.
