The Oscar de la Renta show is one of the most anticipated during New York Fashion Week and it's not for less. The brand of the late Dominican artist has maintained good taste and the incredible pieces that characterized him, for which he became a favorite of many, from first ladies to the most important stars in Hollywood. The show for the fall 2018 collection, which took place at the prestigious New York restaurant Cipriani in lower Manhattan, was quite a show full of dream pieces.

There the entire socialite of the city gathered, who enjoyed a spectacular collection, where vibrant colors such as fuchsia and yellow reigned, as well as floral applications. We also saw feminine long-sleeved dresses with an A-skirt and beautiful floral prints, as well as transparencies and glitter, and oversized coats.

The makeup look of the models was the idea of Tom Pecheux, the main makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics, who opted for a simple, fresh and very natural look, where only the eyes stood out thanks to a shimmering shadow.

“It is a very natural makeup. Beautiful skin with a natural glow, rosy cheeks. Cream lavender shadow with a little pink shine on the mobile eyelid”, explains the expert. "We want the girls to look like goddesses."

Another part that the models also wore very natural ?, the hair, which was in charge of the Cuban-American stylist Orlando Pita, who decided to take advantage of the natural texture of the hair of each of the girls, achieving an incredible result.

"We have several girls who have very individual looks and we are taking advantage of that and making it look their best," says the artist. “[We want to] complement the collection and the girls. I do not care how much texture the hair has, the product I use must leave it manageable and soft”.
