Reese Witherspoon Decks Instyle December Cover

Reese Whiterspoon stars on the cover of the December issue of InStyle magazine. With her signature blonde hair parted to the side, deep red lips and a perfect manicure, the Oscar winner poses very elegantly in a black Armani Privé dress and several sparkling bracelets and rings in the publication's Christmas edition.

The 40-year-old actress, who has just opened the second store of her fashion and style firm, Draper James in Dallas and has announced that she is going to write a book about the southern lifestyle, is interviewed by the legendary country singer Dolly Parton., whom Whiterspoon has admired since childhood.

"It is a different experience," he tells Parton in the interview. "But I'm enjoying learning something new. I've been acting for about 25 years, and I still love it, but I like the challenge of trying something else. I feel like a lot of people talk about New York and Los Angeles, but there is a whole world here in between, and for them it is I like to tell stories and make products; for people who love the life they lead and have a unique sense of style."

The mother of three children, appears in the interior of the magazine wearing some of her designs, like flattering and feminine capes and that is that her business does not stop growing. Whiterspoon acknowledges that her mother is one of the women who has inspired her as a businesswoman for her work ethic. "My mom worked and I think it is good for children to see that women work and are successful," she says. "I think it will make my children work hard because they see that I don't sleep much."

About her role as a mother of three, Ava, 17, Deacon, 12, and Tennessee, 4, says she tries to balance her life as best she can. “My older children help me with the little one. It's nice to have a big family."

Another of the women he admires is his interviewer, Dolly Parton. She even designed a bag that says "What Would Dolly Do?" On it. "You were a great inspiration to me," he says. "I loved country music, and I think you were a beautiful storyteller and you made me feel proud to come from a place that other people made fun of. I wanted to be you and I still want to."
