Just in time for Mother's Day, Isabel and Rubén Toledo launched their new fragrance exclusively for Lane Bryant.
Pink Putti, whose main notes are mango, butterfly flower and pitaya, is inspired by love and creation.
“The most important thing for us was to create a perfume that had that feeling of creation and what more than a baby and the love of a mother. We think about love, creativity and everything that gives inspiration for creation, "says the Cuban-American designer. "That's why we call him Putti, because Putti are the angels who inspire creativity, who protect you."
The artists confess that their new perfume is soft and light, and it inspires a lot of tenderness and also vulnerability.
"It was very important for me to have a balance of power but also of sensitivity, of sweetness", explains Isabel of her new aroma, whose pink bottle is inspired by the Pink House of Frida Kahlo, the house of Christian Dior and the house that [Aristotle] Onassis built Jackie O., which was [called] The Pink House. “When you try it on, at first it is a very effervescent aroma and then when it dries, it is very soft, like [the smell] of a child. It makes you feel very sensitive, vulnerable.”
