Elvis Crespo, father of five children, assured that he has changed and with his daughter Genesis he has sought to amend some mistakes he made as a father in the past. “I am very fond of him and he even gets upset. I have a “little boy” here because these days I was [traveling] with her, I started to kiss her and she got upset and inadvertently scratched me, playful because at home she is the only baby in the house, the only baby, so [my wife] Maribel is the only one in charge of putting discipline [and] in the school,”the singer told MezcalTV. "Then I have to when she is finished so that I am not bored or stressed, I have to become Mickey Mouse, I have to become her companion at school, play with her, do gymnastics, exercise".

The 7-year-old girl appears in her latest music video, "Give me a kiss." "Yes, in the video Genesis appears, my baby, she said to me 'I want to go out in the video, daddy, I want to go out', and then we are going to find a way to get out," he said.

Crespo revealed that with Genesis he could have been another type of father. "Totally different. I am a totally different man than I was twenty years ago, I have a 26 year old son, I am a grandfather! It is not that I was a bad father with my first son, because I am not yet perfect, but I do understand from my immaturity that I could have done things differently, but I do not regret it, but now I have learned, I have matured and with my daughter tried not to make those same mistakes I made in the past."

When it came to educating her daughter, Elvis stressed the importance of spirituality. “Spirituality must be the basis of everything because at a given moment in my life I had a career, I love my career, I love doing what I do, but at one point I had it as a priority and we must be careful because when you put the profession above spirituality, the ego can be in charge of making the decisions and you have to be careful with the ego,”he said. "In that sense, I want to tell my children that the priority is [spirituality], then the family and then the professional, that is my balance and it works for me."
