Amid the sweet wait for her second child, Ana Patricia Gámez is going through a hard time in her life. The father of the co-host of Despierta América (Univision) has been battling cancer for two years and the fight continues, the Mexican confessed during an emotional talk at the Hispanicize event in Miami.

What has this experience taught you?

All of us always complain sometimes about things that perhaps we see as great at the time, but when it is a health issue it does make us see life in a different way. It is always a good time also to be united as a family. Also in my case I am on this side, I do not have the opportunity to be with him as much as I would like because I have to work. I am covering the costs of his treatment, so as a family he has united us all very much and positively, with great faith that we will succeed.
