The Soccer Legend Will Be A Grandfather For The Second Time

Diego Maradona's son, Diego Maradona Jr., unveiled on the Argentine show Los Angeles in the morning that he will become a father.

"I was focused with the [soccer] team last Friday and he called me [my wife] and said, 'We are going to have a son,'" said Maradona Jr., who along with his wife, makeup artist Nunzia Pennino, had than resorting to medical help to have children. "We are very happy, it was something desired for a long time."

This will be the second grandson of the soccer star. "My dad is very happy, very happy," said the new dad. "[He talked to my wife], he is very happy, he knew of the desire that we had."

The relationship between the soccer legend and his son has not always been a good time. In fact, the Argentine refused for three decades to have a relationship with his son and denied having an affair with the young man's mother, Cristiana Sinagra.

The Italian woman brought her paternity claim to court and in the face of Maradona's refusal to take the DNA test, the Italian justice system determined that Diego would carry the Maradona surname. It was not until 2016 that the world champion approached her son, and from that moment their relationship became closer.

At the same time he also signed the pipe of peace with Sinagra.
