Esteban Loaiza And Cristina Eustace, Happy With Their Baby

Esteban Loaiza and his partner Cristina Eustace are happy with the arrival of their first child, Esteban Andrés Loaiza.

The little boy was born at 9:01 a.m. yesterday, Thursday, weighed 5 pounds and was 19 inches.

"The whole night was long, but when we saw our baby healthy and crying in natural childbirth, we cried so much with emotion," says Eustace exclusively for PeopleEnEspanol.com. "It was too magical. The three of us fell asleep all afternoon.”

For the singer, Esteban Andrés has many traits of his father. "He has his little fingers, little arms and long legs," says the proud mother, who published a photo of her sprout's little feet on social networks with the following message:

“Thank you very much for your messages, calls, texts, flowers and support. Esteban and I are so excited. We feel so much love and happiness."

“Right now we are trying to recover from a long night of labor and now we are working and [trying] to breastfeed our son. A thousand apologies if we are not responding. We are still in the hospital making sure everything is fine and we are healthy.”

Prior to this relationship, the former Major League Baseball player married Jenni Rivera in September 2010.

For her part, Loaiza cannot be moved with the arrival of her little son. "He is blown away," says Eustace. "He already sees it picking, and with the crying last night, I think he will be a very good singer."
