Good news for lovers of diet sodas.

The Coca-Cola brand announced that its Diet Coke cans will have a new look for their 12-ounce containers. The new option will have a more elegant appearance, as well as new flavors that give more life and color to the soda

For those willing to step out of their comfort zone, the new flavors will be Diet Coke Ginger Lime, Diet Coke Feisty Cherry, Diet Coke Zesty Blood Orange, and Diet Coke Twisted Mango.

Unlike the recent change to Coke Zero, there will be no alteration to the flavor of the drink as the recipe has worked perfectly for the company.

"Don't mess with something good," says the Coca-Cola press release.

"Diet Coke is one of the most iconic brands and loved by millions of fans in North America," said Rafael Acevedo, director of the Coca-Cola North America group for Diet Coke. "Throughout this relaunch journey, we wanted to be bold, think differently, and be innovative in our approach. And most importantly, we wanted to stay true to the essence of Diet Coke as we reformulated the brand for a new generation."

According to AdAge, the move is an effort to target the millennial generation, and the company will launch commercials later this month that "will feature a mix of celebrities and influencers."

The new cans and flavors will be available in North America beginning in mid-January.
