Once again a children's game ended in tragedy, after a little three-year-old died while playing with her little brothers in an Alabama ice cream parlor.

As reported by the Telemundo affiliate, the poor creature identified as 3-year-old Sadie Andrews, accidentally fell into a well of grease on the floor of the Bruster's Ice Cream store in the city of Auburn.

The terrible accident happened on Saturday afternoon, when the police received a call indicating that a little girl had been lost in that place. When they arrived, officers assigned to that case found an ice cream worker performing heart-lung resuscitation on the unconscious girl.

Upon being transferred to the nearest hospital, the girl was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

After an investigation, authorities discovered that in the surveillance video the girl was seen playing behind the ice cream parlor with two of her little brothers, when she fell through a cover that covered a well of grease on the ground.

Coroner Bill Harris said Sadie was trapped in the container for about five to 10 minutes before she was found.

The family published a Youcaring.com page to help them pay for the funeral expenses, while the owners of that ice cream parlor shared their heartfelt condolences to the little girl's family, on their Facebook page, while saying that all in that trade, including the employee who tried to resuscitate Andrews, they are deeply saddened.
