It was last Friday that the death of the driver Eduardo Videgaray's wife, Mónica Abín Soberanes, was announced. Initially, the family of the film and television producer decided to keep the death a secret, but it was Videgaray who, through his social networks, thanked the support that his followers and friends gave him in the loss of his beloved wife.

"Thank you very much to all those who have sent me condolences in this very painful moment," Videgaray wrote on his Twitter. "Thank you very much".

In response, various personalities from the Mexican media such as Joaquín López Dóriga, Lucía Méndez, among others, gave their condolences to Videgaray through social networks.

To this day, the causes of Monica's death are not known, nor has her family given any statement regarding her death. However, some Mexican tabloids claim that the 51-year-old producer has had cancer for a long time.

Mónica studied her career at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and later became a producer of various projects where she met Videgaray. Mónica worked with Alejandro González Iñárritu on the Amores Perros and 21 grams tapes, as well as on Channel Eleven in Mexico City. And along with Eduardo, she participated in productions such as LeBlanca el Hoyo and Planeta 3 de Televisa, projects in which both served as executive producers.

Rest in peace Mónica Abín Soberanes!
