United States President Donald Trump has once again caused a great deal of controversy on social media, after posting a controversial video on his Twitter account on Sunday morning.

The clip in question is a modified version of his appearance in a wrestling match in 2007, the images show the current president, physically assaulting another man, whose head was replaced with the logo of the renowned CNN news network.

On Saturday afternoon the real estate magnate had already shared another tweet attacking the chain and in which he wrote: "I am thinking of changing the name of #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN".

Of course, the response from network users was immediate, to completely reject the president's publication.

The president's controversial new messages add to recent attacks on presenters Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski of the well-known NBC News morning Joe morning show.

Last Saturday, Trump came out in defense of his controversial use of social networks and affirmed that nothing will stop him from continuing to use them in the same way that he has in recent years.

"Fake news and fraudulent media work hard to convince Republicans and others that you shouldn't be using social media - but remember, I won the election with interviews, speeches, and social media," he said. “I had to beat the fake news and I did it. We will continue to win! The use of my social networks is not presidential - it is modern presidential, "he added.
