Aramazd Andressian Murdered His Son

Aramazd Andressian was sentenced to 25 years in prison after admitting that he killed his 5-year-old son.

Andressian, 35, suffocated her son with a jacket in his car, Detective Louie Aguilera said. The boy was killed an hour after he and his father arrived in Santa Barbara, and his body was deposited in a wooded area near Vista Point. "I hope you revive the image of murdering my baby every day of your insignificant life," the boy's mother, Ana Estévez, told Andressian just before he was sentenced. "May your dark soul burn in eternal hell."

The man pleaded guilty to avoiding other charges that would lead him to serve the death penalty. According to authorities, Andressian decided to kill his son as part of a plot for his wife to return, since the boy's murder occurred during his parents' divorce process. “There is no real pain, only an incomprehensible death. Like my son, I too have died, said Estévez.

The little boy was apparently killed on April 21. A day later, his father was found passed out in a parking lot. Andressian had taken prescription pills and was found inside a car dipped in gasoline, in a scene that was an apparent suicide attempt.

According to information from the New York Post, authorities found the boy's body two months later near Lake Cachuma, some 145 kilometers from Anaheim.

Ambrosio Rodríguez, Andressian's lawyer, has stated that the murder was not flattened and also said that Andressian gave investigators information on where they could find the body of her son.
