The President of the United States, Donald Trump, does not give a truce to his constant controversies. Just a few days after making the hairs of the famous and non-famous stand on end for their unusual reaction to the tragic outcome of the white supremacist demonstration in Charlottesville, Virginia, he now condemned the removal of monuments dedicated to Confederate leaders in the civil War. These monuments are considered by many people as a symbol of racism.

"Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being shattered with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments," he wrote Thursday morning. “You cannot change history, but you can learn from it. Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson - Who's Next, Washington, Jefferson? What nonsense!

And he continued with an upcoming tweet: "The beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will also be greatly missed and will never be comparable replaced!"

The president's messages could be a reaction to the action being taken by several United States mayors who are removing confederate symbols from public places, to avoid events like those in Charlottesville in which a young woman died.
