Instead, Makenna Greenwald did something unexpected: She stopped to clean up the star of United States President Donald Trump, unleashing mixed reactions, including a number of memes.
The 20-year-old shared on June 28 several photos in which she appeared cleaning the president's star from the graffiti that covered her. She also accompanied the photos with this text: “I just stopped to clean the @realDonaldTrump Hollywood star. Nothing but respect for MY president. #Well educated.
Immediately, users of social networks showed their reactions. Some, like Eric Trump, one of the President's children, thanked him for the gesture.
Others showed their sense of humor with similar photos, but in those cases the stars were from characters like Donald Duck or Shrek, and echoed Greenwald's words: "Nothing but respect for MY president."
There were also others who, far from politics, preferred to take this as a lesson in citizenship and are taking advantage of their trip through this part of California, to do their bit and clean the stars of other artists.
But since the creativity of Twitter users has no limits, there are already those who took the message from Hollywood and have taken it to their own homes, like a teenager who took a photo of herself sweeping her kitchen and adapting Greenwald's message to her home.: "Nothing but respect for MY mom."
