United States First Lady Melania Trump has again filed a defamation lawsuit against the Daily Mail website because she was reported to have worked as a company lady in the past.
The lawsuit was filed this time in New York, and the ex-model's lawyers argue that the information damaged her ability to benefit from her high-profile image, meaning that after the portal published such a report, Melania was unable to launch a own trademark with a long inventory of products, which according to his lawyers "would have generated multimillion-dollar commercial relationships".
These products include accessories, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care products, clothing, etc.
In the past, Trump filed a lawsuit against Mail Media Inc. in Maryland, but the judge rejected it because the complaint must have been filed in New York, where the outlet has its offices.
The lawsuit filed seeks compensation of $ 150 million.
